Stamp History
In 1991, the 13th Biennial Exhibition of Book Illustrations for Children was held in Bratislava. The exhibition featured illustrations from children’s books from all over the world. Over the course of two weeks, the exhibition attracted more than 200,000 visitors.
The artist behind the stamp is Stasys Eidrigevičius. The stamp shows an illustration of Pinocchio. Stasys Eidrigevičius is a Lithuanian artist who is known for his illustrations, sculpture, and stage design.
